"Kontoret for Jordforbindelse" är ett projekt som belyser, experimentellt utforskar och konkret aktiverar hållbar urban och regional utveckling. "Kontoret for Jordforbindelse" är ett mobilt kontor som lokaliserar sig på olika områden och platser i Öresundsregionen, initierat av två konstnärsgrupper i Öresundsregionen, PUBLIC GLOBALITY GARDENS (S) och YDRE NØRREBRO KULTUR BUREAU (DK) som en stratgi för att arbeta för hållbarhet i regionen. Individuellt arbetar grupperna i olika lokala projekt. PUBLIC GLOBALITY GARDENS som etablerade "Koloniträdgården på S:t Knuts torg" i Malmö för att starta en konstruktiv debatt om de negativa effekter som exploateringen av gröna områden i staden medför. YNKB, som deltog i Ynitivgruppens förslag att skapa en aktivitetspark på DSB mark vid Nørrebro station och ett annat förslag om Konst- och kultur center i Fraktmandshallerne på Nørrebro i Köpenhamn. Då många konstnärer arbetar med liknande aspekter av planeringsfrågor och dess relation till hållbarhet har projektet inviterat konstnärer och organisationer som arbetar i konstkontexten till ett samarbete. Projektet är idag baserat på konstnärerna/konstnärsgrupperna Public Globality Gardens (S) och YNKB (DK) i samarbete med Konstfrämjandet i Skåne (S), Nis Rømer (DK), Khaled Ramadan (DK) and Cecilia Wendt (S).
Syftet med samarbetet är att problematisera lokala stadsplaneringsfrågor på en relevant regional nivå i både Danmark och Sverige. Genom dokumentationer och installationer vill "Kontoret for Jordforbindelse" inspirera till lokala aktioner och utveckla en plan för handling som kan användas för att förnya och förändra urban planering på ett globalt plan. "Kontoret for Jordforbindelse" är tänkt att vara en aktiv bas där exempel på projekt som gjorts, är tillgängliga genom ett arkiv med dokumentation. Arkiven som planeras ska vara både fysiska som virtuellt tillgängliga. "Kontoret for Jordforbindelse" planerar för närvarande "Kontoret for Jordforbindelse Seminars och Workshop" (in 2006) with the aim to applicate theoretical "input" in an EXPERIEMENTARIUM. "Kontoret for Jordforbindelse" syfte är att skapa ett arkiv och ett forum för konstnärer som arbetar i denna kontext och för att underlätta kommunikationen av idéer för utvecklingen i regionen.

"Kontoret for Jordforbindelse/The Office of Sustainable Society" is a project that illuminates, experimentally explores, and concretely activates sustainable urban development."The Office of Sustainable Societies" is a mobile office which localizes in different areas and spaces in the Öresund region, inititated by two artist groups in the Öresund- region, PUBLIC GLOBALITY GARDENS (S) and OUTER NØRREBRO KULTUR BUREAU (DK) as a a strategy to work for sustainability in the region. Individually the groups are working with different local projects. PUBLIC GLOBALITY GARDENS which established "The Allotment at S:t Knuts square" in Malmö to start a constructive debate about the negative effects of the increasing exploition of green areas in this city. YNKB, which participated in the initiative group´s proposal to create an acitivity park on DSB property at Nørrebro station and another proposal for an arts and culture centre at the Freighthalls in the Nørrebro quarter of Copenhagen. Since many artists work with similar aspects of planning and its relation to sustainability the project has invited artists and organization working in the artist context to collaborate. The project is today based on the artists/artist groups "Public Globality Gardens (S) and YNKB (DK) in collaboration with Konstfrämjandet i Skåne (S), Nis Rømer (DK), Khaled Ramadan (DK) and Cecilia Wendt (S).
The aim of the cooperation is to raise local urban planning issues to a relevant level in both Denmark and Sweden. Through documentation and installations, "The Office of Sustainable Societies" wishes to inspire local actions and develop a plan of action that can be used to renew and change urban planning on the global level. "The Office of Sustainable Societies" is an active base where examples of its work, and that of others, are made accessible through a library, archives, videos, slides, tapes, a virtual web-site etc. The public is welcome to study the archive when the office is exhibiting in different ways. The aim is also to build an virtual archive on the project´s web-site. "The Office of Sustainable Society" is for the moment organizing "The Office of Sustainable Societies Seminars and Workshop" (in 2006) with the aim to applicate theoretical "input" in an EXPERIEMENTARIUM. "The Office of Sustainable Societies" aims to create an archive and a forum for artists working in this context and to make it easier for artist to communicate ideas for the development of the region.
